Refund & Return Policy

At About Me Organics, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Our friendly team is here to answer questions or guide you through any return process.

Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind after making a purchase. Change of mind returns are accepted within 7 days of receiving your order, but please note that some items cannot be returned for change of mind, including:

  • Personal hygiene products (deodorants, lip balms, toothbrushes, razors, menstrual cups).

  • Perishable or refrigerated items (such as kombucha, kefir, frozen smoothie packs, bakery items).

  • Opened or used supplements

Criteria for Returns:

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging
  • Personal hygiene products (deodorants, lip balms, toothbrushes, razors, menstrual cups) can only be returned if faulty.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required
  • Returns must be approved by our team before being sent back
  • Only items meeting the return criteria outlined above will be eligible for a refund.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

To lodge a change of mind return, contact us within 7 days. Our team will guide you through the process and provide the details you need to complete your return.

About Me Organics reserves the right to reject returns that don’t meet these requirements. If returned items are ineligible, they will be sent back to you and any applicable fees recovered. 

Natural Products & Results Disclaimer

Many of the products stocked, including herbs, supplements, and natural remedies, can vary slightly between batches due to seasonal changes, sourcing, and the nature of natural ingredients.

Because of this:

  • Variations in taste, colour, smell, or texture are normal and do not indicate a fault
  • Individual results may vary from person to person

Returns or refunds are not accepted based on:

  • A product not producing the desired result
  • Differences in taste, smell, or appearance between batches
  • Personal preference or expectations of how a product should work

While these products are carefully selected for their quality and traditional use, results are not guaranteed and will vary between individuals.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if a product is genuinely faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Exchanges

We are unable to facilitate direct exchanges. If you wish to change a product, we recommend placing a new order for the item you want and returning your original order for a refund, in accordance with our return conditions.

Damaged or Faulty Items 

We package every item with care, but from time to time a product may become damaged while in transit.

If an item in your order arrives damaged or faulty:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

  2. Our team may request a photo of the item to help assess the claim.

  3. We may provide a return slip for you to return the faulty product. Approved items can be returned either by post (we recommend tracked shipping) or in person at our store. Please use the original packaging if possible.

  4. Once approved, a refund or replacement will be processed promptly.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for parcels that are stolen after delivery to the provided address.

Refunds will cover the product cost only.

Return & Refund Process

    To initiate a return, please contact us on:

    For damaged or faulty items, our team will review your claim and may request a photo of the item to assist in processing. Approved refunds for these claims will be processed within 48 hours. 

    For change of mind returns, items can be returned in person to the About Me Organics store at no cost, or may organise a shipping return at your own expense.

    Refunds

    Once your return has been received and approved:

    • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
    • Please allow 3–5 business days for funds to appear in your account

    If you have not received your refund after this time, we recommend checking with your bank before contacting us.

    Important Notes

    • Returns that do not meet our policy requirements may be rejected
    • If a return is deemed ineligible, the item may be sent back at your expense
    • We are not responsible for parcels that are lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed

    Australian Consumer Law

    Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

    You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
