Gut Care for Kids is designed to soothe the gastrointestinal tract and maintain healthy digestion in children. This beneficial formula features key herbs, including BCM-95™ Turmeric and milk thistle, which support healthy digestion and aid in gut and liver detoxification. Slippery elm, used in traditional Western herbal medicine, helps soothe the gastrointestinal tract, providing comfort for your child's digestive system.
Gut Care for Kids also includes the prebiotic larch arabinogalactan to support healthy gut flora. Available in a delicious pineapple-flavoured powdered formula, this natural supplement offers gentle support for children's digestive health.
Soothes the gut mucosa: Glutamine may supply a source of nutrients to the cells of the intestines, protecting the gut mucosa from damage and promoting repair. Gut Care for Kids also contains marshmallow, slippery elm and liquorice that are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to soothe the gastrointestinal tract. Liquorice has been shown to soothe the gastrointestinal tract by inhibiting prostaglandin and lipoxygenase synthesis.
Prebiotic fibre: Larch arabinogalactans and pectin are sources of dietary fibre which may support a healthy microbiome.
Liver detoxification: Turmeric, St Mary's thistle, glycine and cysteine help to support liver detoxification. Gut Care for Kids may also enhance phase II detoxification via increases in glutathione by selenium and cysteine.
Children 2 to 5 years: Mix 1 level scoop (5g) into 50mL of water once daily.
Children 6 to 12 years: Mix 2 level scoops (10g) into 100mL of water once daily.
