HealthWise® L-Tryptophan is 100% pure pharmaceutical grade amino acid. This essential amino acid is found in all animal proteins and is often lacking in a vegan diet.
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid and is an indirect precursor to serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter used by the body to help regulate mood.
Additionally, L Tryptophan is the precursor for vitamin B3 in the form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), however, only about 1/60th of the tryptophan in the body is actually converted to NAD.
A small serving of 100mg can be taken on an empty stomach, preferably away from meals.
Please use digital scale to measure your serving to ensure 100mg or less.
Approx 1/10 teaspoon = 100mg
TIPS:
Taking Tryptophan off the spoon followed by coconut water or juice is a great way to absorb Tryptophan as it has low solubility in water.
Low degree heated water (up to 30 degrees) will aid solubility if unable to take off spoon. Excessive heating is not recommended as it will affect the stability of this amino acid.
