Our Organic Green Split Peas are green peas that have had their husk removed and then split in half. They have a mild flavour and soft texture once cooked. They have more of an earthy flavour than whole dried peas and are similar to the lentil in versatility and nourishment. They are often used in thick soups and stews but also can be used to make dips or spreads. Green split peas provide a good source of protein and fibre in your diet.
