Quick Start for previously coloured hair:
- Mix equal parts colour gel and developer in a plastic or glass bowl (never metal).
- Blend until you get a smooth gel texture.
- Apply to dry, unwashed hair onto the regrowth only.
- Leave on for 30 minutes — then apply to remaining length of hair.
- Process for a further 10 minutes, 40 minutes processing time total.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Tip your head back to avoid getting colour in your eyes.
- Shampoo with Herbatint Colour Safe Shampoo.
- Condition with Royal Cream Conditioner. Leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse.
Quick Start for virgin/uncoloured hair:
- Mix equal parts colour gel and developer in a plastic or glass bowl (never metal).
- Blend until you get a smooth gel texture.
- Apply to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots.
- Leave on for 40 minutes — this is essential!
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Tip your head back to avoid getting colour in your eyes.
- Shampoo with Herbatint Colour Safe Shampoo.
- Condition with Royal Cream Conditioner. Leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse.
Pro Tip: The bottles are resealable, so any unused unmixed product can be saved for next time. Just don’t mix more than you need. Detailed instructions also included in the box.
