Fresh: Bring water to the boil, add salt and add a dash of oil. Add the gnocchi. When they float, skim and toss with your favourite sauce !
Frozen: Do not defrost the gnocchi and cook from frozen, follow the instruction above but be careful to use a really large pot, and do not add the gnocchi all together but slowly, and maintain the water at boiling temperature.
