Honest to Goodness Organic Carob Powder is naturally caffeine-free with a unique, sweet yet earthy, malt taste. It is calcium and antioxidant rich, low in fat and high in fibre, making it a fantastic cacao alternative!

Grown and produced in Australia, our carob powder is made from pods grown on carob trees selectively chosen for their thick, rich, luscious pods — not for the seeds. This carob powder is roasted, NOT raw.

Use carob as an alternative flavour to chocolate in cakes, biscuits and desserts. Organic carob powder can be substituted 1:1 in place of cocoa or cacao

No GMO. No added sugar. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

To replace cocoa powder for carob powder in a recipe, simply use the same amount of carob. You may choose to reduce the other sweeteners by roughly one quarter due to carob's naturally mild sweet flavour.

To substitute chocolate with carob, use approximately 3 tablespoons of carob powder in place of each square of chocolate.
