Growing your own alkaline greens at home is made easy with Life Cykel's eco-friendly grow kit. This grow kit can be harvested in 3-5 days with 16 crops to pick and blend. Add your alkaline greens into your smoothies to absorb its health benefits. Included in this kit is are a set of 8 paper cups, coffee grounds and 2 seed sachets.

Life Cykel teamed up with the Cup of Life Project to create this fun and interactive grow kit for the whole family. Life Cykel collects the coffee wastes whilst Cup of Life Project collects recycled coffee cups for food production. The coffee soil is made from composted coffee and kitchen waste collected from Byron Bay cafes, saving them from going into landfill. It contains essential nutrients that keep your plants thriving. Packaged in a recyclable cardboard box and plastic soil bag.

Directions:

Fill your cups to the top with coffee soil and 1/3 cup of water in each. Distribute 1 pack of seeds on the surface of 8 cups evenly then cover with dry soil to absorb the water underneath Grow inside the home for best germination. Place your cup in a light place such as your window sill. Lightly water after 3-5 days when sprouting starts Snip your greens with scissors just above the soil line when they are about 5cm long. Harvest and supercharge your smoothie or meal with fresh and alkalising greens Grow a second crop! Tip the cup upside down emptying the soil into the palm of your hand. Using both hands place the inverted soil back into the cup so the old greens are facing down and repeat the instructions above
